Kristy Molina

I am a Tazewell County native, graduating from Richlands High School in 1997.  I attended college and graduate school at Lee University, a private Christian college in Cleveland, Tennessee. I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Bible in 2001. I graduated with a Master of Science in School Counseling degree in 2004.  I began my school counseling career at Lake Forest Middle School in Cleveland, Tennessee in 2003 on a provisional license while I completed my Master's degree. I worked at LFMS for two years before moving back to Virginia in 2005.  My career as an elementary school counselor with Tazewell County Public Schools began in 2005.  I worked at Springville Elementary, Abb's Valley Elementary and Tazewell Middle, traveling between schools, for 5 years.  I then transferred to North Tazewell Elementary School and Tazewell Elementary and worked there for four years.  When the school counselor at Cedar Bluff Elementary retired, I transferred and worked there for 3 years.

I am the wife to my wonderful husband, and mom to my precious kids. When Main Street Kindergarten expanded to be Main Street School, I knew I wanted Rylee to attend.  I had no idea how I would get her back and forth to Tazewell everyday, but God truly worked a miracle and opened the door for me to work at Main Street School.  I co-taught 4th grade my first year at MSS and loved every second of it. For the first time in 14 years I didn't count down to the last day of school!  I tell everyone who will listen that coming to Main Street School has been one of the best decisions I've ever made both professionally and for my daughter.  Words cannot describe what a blessing MSS has been to our family!  We are excited that my son will be joining us at MSS this year as well!

My role at Main Street School has changed this year.  I will be serving as part of the administrative team as Principal.  I am excited to have the opportunity to serve the parents, students, faculty and staff of Main Street School in this new role!

Sabra Wilson

Before I was old enough to go to school, I have loved books and paper and crayons and pencils. When I was finally old enough to go to school, I came home so disappointed because they didn't teach me how to read that first day. Since that time, I have learned to read those books I loved, write a variety of stories, work with numbers and many other things that have opened the world wide to me. Education was such a delight for me that it was natural for me to study to teach others. I taught in the public school setting and then home schooled my children. It delights my heart to continue teaching here at MSS in the 4th grade.

Miranda Williams

Art Teacher

As a native of Tazewell County and a mother of three, Miranda Williams appreciates the beauty and pace of small-town living. In September 2017, she began working at Main Street School and realized immediately that she had found a job she could love and look forward to each day. She was surround by co-workers who were more like family members and by students who were as eager to learn as she was to teach.

Miranda received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Radford University with a concentration in 3-D Art and Jewelry/Metal Work. While at Radford, Miranda worked as a professor's assistant in the jewelry department. She later returned to Tazewell with her husband and went on to raise a family and teach adult crafting classes for over 5 years at Tazewell Grace Fellowship. While raising her family, Miranda was always surrounded by children—hers as well as others’. She quickly became inspired by the way in which children responded to her art and activities, and by their overall eagerness and curiosity. What’s more, Miranda realized that through art, children could learn more about God's love.

Miranda believes that learning about art, whether through art history or through a myriad of creative hands on activities, can help children explore and better understand the amazing world in which they live. Miranda is forever passionate and earnestly believes that through art, children will always have an opportunity to develop into unique, discerning, loving individuals.

This is Melissa Angles second year at Main Street School, and she feels very blessed to be able to serve in the art room as an aide. Melissa was raised in North Tazewell, but moved to Kansas for her college years. After graduating with her BA in Studio Art, she came back to Tazewell where she married her husband, Jarred. Jarred and Melissa currently reside in Tazewell with their three cats, Snickers, Kit Kat, and Rolo. They both enjoy traveling and being outdoors biking, hiking, or kayaking. Spending time outdoors and observing God’s uniqueness with all of His creation is the main inspiration behind Melissa’s artwork. As an artist, she is excited to be able to show her love of Christ and His creation to the next generation.

Jackie Lutz

Hello!! I am absolutely thrilled to be teaching music at MSS this year! Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to educate your children in music and worship!

I began my journey in music with piano at the age of 5 and gradually added instruments throughout my life. I spent my summers as a child figuring out my favorite cartoon themes on piano and guitar! I began teaching private and group music lessons to children at the Connelly School of Music in 1999 while still in high school and continued that on the side of all my professional careers. I was primarily trained as a classical pianist up through college, but my heart was not into classical performance. It wasn’t until I fell in love with Jesus Christ that my true joy was ignited, and I immediately transitioned into praise and worship

I founded Lutz Make Music LLC in May, 2013 and spent several years teaching music to kids and adults in Tazewell. I have over 17 years of experience in training and education in reading music, understanding and applying music theory, and playing a variety of instruments, to include piano, guitar, drums, and ukulele.

Children are a tremendous joy to me, and I love to make music fun and interactive. Children and song are some of the greatest gifts God gave us, so above all, I aim to glorify Him in all I do, whether it's through my music, my work ethic, or compassion for others.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband Steven, daughter Evelyn, and mini-goldendoodle Oliver. Oh, and reading my Bible with a hot mug of coffee- extra whipped cream!c
